[Brock strolls down into the lobby on his way to the kitchen, when he (understandably) is distracted by this attractive lady in a ... what is that, a sweaterdress? And boots? Um, okay.

Well, she looks new, and seems to be concentrating on the journal, which obviously means she has questions.

Brock now becomes an expert on all castle mysteries, and rolls on over.] Hey. You new?

Well, I think I'm clear on most things. The one thing I want to know is why the only part of my shitty relationship with my shitty ex-boyfriend that I can't remember is the part where he cheated on me.

Not... the shitty ex-boyfriend who came here with me. I mean the shitty ex-boyfriend after him.

It often takes memories of someone you knew. A friend, parent... I'd say that's shitty.

But it didn't take the memories of him. Just the memories of him doing specific things. I didn't lose the memories of breaking up with him, either. Or even the memories of hating his stupid asshole guts.

I just can't figure out why the castle was so specific with my loss, you know?

He cheated on me. Like, repeatedly. Because he has a "sexual addiction". Which isn't even a real thing. Asshole.

But it left all the feelings I have about it. Which is like, a lot of hate. So even if I didn't know what happened, I wouldn't have felt any different about it. How is that uncomfortable?

I forgot that my ex cheated on me. I remember breaking up with him, and all his ridiculous bullshit about "sexual addiction", but not him actually cheating.

Uh, nope. More like the castle took all the memories of what made me break up with my boyfriend. Still remember breaking up with him. Still remember hating him. Just can't remember why.
