He has the energy for it... and he's certainly worldly.

And I'm pretty sure he'll say yes too.

Which means we need to start organizing our thoughts about what exactly we want to say if they end up answering.

You think we could talk territorial lines?

We could, but I've no idea if they're gonna budge on that even an inch. In fact, I doubt it.

We'd discussed the idea of asking them about whether they're interested in trade, to see if we could get them to offer some info, without letting on that Zexion was involved in dropping that hint.

I like this idea. It might get us some leeway with them and would still keep him out of danger - even if they said no, we could keep pushing and try and make some offers. It's common sense they'd be lacking some things out there enough to where they might be willing to cooperate with us to get them.

And it'd seem like a less suspicious reason for us to contact them then just out of the goodness of our hearts, considering they don't trust us in the first place.

Exactly. Working in our on self-interest is really reasonable.

The more I think of it, the more I like leaving it to the Doctor, too. I wish Raine was still here... but he's our next best choice. He's been to all kinds of places, he's friendly and easy to get along with, he likes people, he's curious...

And with as many Doctors as we've had come through here, maybe they're used to dealing with them too, and know they can be trusted.
