How about the time he turned my childhood sweetheart into a mindless supersoldier assassin? Or the fact that he was funding illegal research into human cloning for his own twisted personal ends? I investigated him for years, but he had enough money and power to stay eight steps ahead of me, no matter how many murders or dirty secret projects I linked him to.

I get where you were coming from, and I can't say I like the idea of her putting herself so close to him. No matter what she knows about, her feelings for him are complicated, and complication is the last thing we need where Lex is concerned.

I'm hoping to give her a real, solid interview, and try to find out how she produced those necklaces so quickly. Looking back over the journals, I noticed how often Goldfleck had mentioned that the Iron Suits hung around for days after we left, and I have a hard time believing she spent all that time focused on some kind of magic assembly line.
