Yes, it's a type of sauce made with white wine and mushrooms. It's usually served over linguine - which is a type of pasta.

I know that pasta is good. [a small fluttering sound.]

That sounds like it is hard to make.

It's a pickled treat, made from plums.

Plums are good. [she'll have to write this one down on her list!] Is it like candy?

Fruit, with strawberries and cherries being best, honey, and venison. For a drink, hot tea or hot coffee.

Though I will say that spaghetti dish you introduced me to is quite a bit up there now.

What is [copying the word quickly] venison ?

[but still, that's a whole meal!] But I think fruit is very good also. I like strawberries and oranges...

Maybe I will make you a fruit dish next time [a little doodled :) face]

It's deer meat. It's not very fatty, so it doesn't make me round and keeps up my strength well. I usually have it in stew or as jerky.

Fruit salads are good! I found out smoothies are good too since arriving here. Or sorbets even! I'll look forward to it!

That sounds good too... [brb writing all of this down.]

Here there are so many new things, I am excited to try making them.

I thought that raw foods make people sick... [that's what her book said, anyway. well, sort of. it's a generalization.] Is there something special about it?

It's a type of dumpling that's covered in a nice sweet yet salty sauce!
