Ah, I see...that's what I was thinking. Can you imagine going back to your time - which I don't know, come to think of it - and not having all these more modern conveniences?
I've sort of wondered lately if we even go home at all. What if we're just copies of the versions of ourselves back home? That would explain why we don't remember anything, and why we can come here multiple times from different points of time, and why no one even notices we're missing. It makes a lot more sense than trying to claim Paradisa has enough power to pause other worlds.
But personally, I think I could. It's normal enough for my universe.

What I'd be most worried about is nobody else ever believing you when you went back home. That would just make me feel like I was going crazy.
