[With the appearance of the blood tree, Nikola Tesla has been more than a little busy. He's currently in the library, searching for anything about trees bleeding.]
[He doesn't find anything of that sort, but what he comes across is rather unexpected- a diary entry from someone who had previously lived in the castle. It was funny, he hadn't noticed the page lying around before...]

"Pythia spoke to the castle today. According to her, the castle has nothing to do with this.
My neighbours seemed really upset about it. When I asked, Mrs. Lancaster told me that it means there's a kidnapper on the loose, and that the kids are probably still in the castle somewhere. She didn't say anything else, but I think I got the message clear enough: they might not be alive.
I keep rereading the sad entries and bumping into upset people in the halls. I don't really know what to say. I don't know if I feel helpless or just plain unhelpful."
[Tesla is silent for a moment before he speaks again.]
All this kidnapping stuff- it isn't new, I'm afraid. I wonder what happened to the people who lived here before us...
But what interests me is that someone "spoke" with the castle. I suppose none of you have been able to do that. So, what did these people have that we don't?
