[Anyone in the vicinity of the duck pond today might find a little blonde kid sitting by the edge, nibbling on a massive cupcake and enjoying the wonderful absence of snow, for the first time since his arrival. He is repeating six words over and over in a cheerful, singsong voice: ]

[Laurie's walking about the grounds with her own cupcake, feeling much better compared to yesterday, when she promptly lit the fuse that would spark an eventual fight between her and Julian, and also, started to reconcile with her apparent ex-boyfriend...who she's been trying to avoid for a bit, since she's still not quite comfortable.

But, while she still isn't happy with the castle as a whole, she does have to admit that it is quite lovely, and she finds herself wandering around the grounds, today, thinking about all the things she wants to do.

She comes to the duck pond, and is about to go by, when she hears the singing. She stops walking, turns toward the location of the sound...and sees the kid.]

[Hunny looks up at Laurie, grinning cheerfully; there's a spot of pink icing on his nose, but he doesn't seem to notice.]
