[Oh, NOW you want to talk, huh? B| Though he's not about to ignore the filter, plus the last part intrigues him.]

I appreciate it. Leaving that sort of impression on someone didn't really sit with me well.

But, you found the source? It wasn't just a loss?

Some strange woman was the cause of all of it. I... assumed you would of known, being under her influence.

I can't say I did, there wasn't any hint or feelings of whatever was responsible. I just chalked it up to 'the castle's messing with me again' like usual.

Then you missed out. You could have joined your fellows who were influenced by her in taking revenge.

Ah! There you are, Father. I filtered to you some time ago, but I suppose you missed it... [yes, this cheerful bastard is the angry kid, don't judge him.]

Yes -- I've thought a great deal on what you said, actually. I'd be grateful if you were willing to humor me and-- perhaps talk further over tea?

Oh? Then I apologize for missing it. I was caught up in a few of my own matters... if you know who a Shirogane Naoto is. She seemed to fall ill when we were speaking in the kitchen, so I was tending to her. [While speaking into the journal, he backtracks a few pages to find that filter...]

I would like that. It would be interesting to hear the thoughts of another on my mentor's philosophy.

Ah... is she alright, now? [cute girls in trouble?! a worthy distraction.]

...Mm. As for that, this is a discussion best had in person, I think! I'd be more than happy to put the kettle on for you, now.

She's better, yes. She said she had been overworking herself these past days so she's resting now.

That sounds perfect. If you can tell me where to meet you, I can head there now.
