[04] the space-man says everybody look down...

Feb 02, 2011 10:24

I'm taking the TARDIS underneath the Castle.

You know.

Just to see what's there.

Anyone want to come with me? We could very well die.

I tend to be! Really, it'll be fun, you know, time-machine, potentially getting crushed to death, but I should be able to keep that from happening unless the Castle decides to you know, ignore physics.

[Ten's back? Huh. He wasn't paying attention, clearly. But no matter, onto the subject at hand. Clark's somewhat interested.]

It does ignore physics. Things are weird down there, to say the least.

[hey, it's that dude from the high school change]

Wouldn't a time machine ignore physics anyway? [or something. It's not exactly her best subject.]

... Evil feelings, giant rock snakes, [flipping of pages... caverns... {lots of flipping. Hmmm. Thinking Doctor is thinking...]

Sounds good.

Maybe.

You know, you're really rather useful.

I have read through the journal. That's all. [Several times. Because she could.]

I suppose that's one way to say 'good morning, Paradisa'.

[After checking out Yuki's bookmarked pages.]

Somehow I missed the memo about the monster under the bed.

Lois~! Hello!

Sounds good to me, really. Rock snakes! This place never gets old. Maybe it's sentient. At any rate, it might be a good idea to check further below than that. The TARDIS can generate a forcefield around it that can keep out just about anything.

Nice to see nothing's dampened your spirits, Doctor. [No, really. It's a nice change from all the doom and gloom. :'( ]

Assuming the castle doesn't decide to change your submersible time machine into a flimsy chicken coop or something, just for laughs, when you're halfway down.

Have you tested out that force field here, to make sure it still works?

Count me in. I've been curious about the mysteries of this place for a while now. This'll be a good chance to do some investigation.

You know, I'm always glad for a companion or two, but it might be a little dangerous what with all the rock snake and the creepy-mysterious vibe some of the other residents got, I mean, I know I put out sort of an open invitation, which, y'know, I do that, from time to time...

Sorry, who's this?

I'm sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Matt Murdock, blind guy and budding private investigator. [He laughs]

I'm not stranger to dangerous situations, so I think I can handle whatever the mysterious underground caverns can throw at me. I should also mention that my senses function on a much higher level than most, so whatever danger we'll be facing, I'll hear it coming probably before anyone else.

I never said I was reassuring, just brilliant.

I didn't realize leading people to their possible deaths was 'brilliant'.
