[So Sam really shouldn't be in the library. He SHOULD be back in his room, resting from the injuries he managed to get earlier in the week, but being Sam and not thinking about his personal well-being at all, he's putting himself to work instead.
He's got the research books stacked up next to him, and is paging back through the journal to see what people knew and what they didn't. Once he's got that fully assessed, he's going to get to the actual research, but for right now, he's just catching up.
