[Zuko likely would have agreed with you, if he'd heard. Instead, he's tromping his way through the snow, heading back to the castle, working hard to ignore everything he possibly can-- snow, people, those stupid birds.
Little does he realize the the significance of those stupid birds, and what that might mean for anyone he passes by]
[Clearly the two have the same plans- of ignoring everything, that is. He'll notice Zuko, but not even give him the slightest of glances. He had other things to be concerned with.
Though that turtledove sitting in the snow between where they passed certainly seems rather ominous, for some reason...]
[kind of weird that a bird would just be sitting there. Odd.
Normally he wouldn't have given it, or the guy he'd just expertly ignored as he passed, a second thought. ...But there is something bothering him. He gets a few steps further, the dove's quiet cooing drifting into the cold air, and he can't shake the nagging feeling. He can't put his finger on exactly what it is, but... he pauses and glances back at the guy.]
[And likewise, the coos of the bird caused Jin to stop in his tracks as well. He isn't quite sure what, exactly, just washed over him but he was something he couldn't find himself being able to ignore.
As result, he would end up looking over his shoulder at the man he had just passed, making direct eye contact for some strange reason.]
