[Caroline's journal is open on her bed. Her door is open as well as she feels perhaps treating this place like a dorm will open more communication? She swishes in front of the mirror.]
You know, in Mystic Falls we did stuff like this. We did period clothing for some Founders Day events or dances. This is kind of fun! Okay, it's...a little uncomfortable and way old fashioned but I like what the castle's trying to do.

I don't know what you all were talking about. The castle doesn't seem that bad. Playing dress-up? I do it back home like I said so, I think you guys were exaggerating. I get it. New girl, play a few...tricks or stuff. Like, I get it, okay? But, this is fun.
I think I said the same thing over and over again. So, what is everyone doing today, anyway? And, who would I talk to about um, a job?
