[It's early morning and Felix has found himself in the clinic. Well...eventually. But he's here now, looking not at all happy. He has his right hand wrapped up in a small towel while he roots, rather noisily, around in the cabinets looking for some proper medical supplies. God forbid he get help for this kind of thing. And

[This devastatingly handsome young man is in one of the beds by the window, looking over at this newcomer.]

[lord_wizard]

[Felix pauses, hiding his surprise by slamming a cupboard a little harder than necessary.]

Oh. I didn't know there was anybody here.

[a beat]

You wouldn't know where they keep the bandages, perchance?

[daddyhost]

[He had been pretty out of it when he was bandaged, but...]

The cupboard to your left?

[lord_wizard]

[He looks around, a little more calmly, and opens that one. Oh yes, here they are, how did he miss them? Starts to unwrap the bandages and clears his throat, hating silence]

What happened to you?

[daddyhost]

I was wounded defending the honour of the fair princesses in this castle, protecting them from the evils that sought to defile their innocence.

[lord_wizard]

[wrapping the bandages around his bloodied knuckles now, trying to figure out if this kid is serious]

How fortunate for them. What sort of evils were they in danger from?

[daddyhost]

[He falls silent for a moment, fingers touching the bandage at his chest.]

An evil man with a sword of ice.

[lord_wizard]

[Normally something like that would sound ridiculous, but, Paradisa had changed his perspective somewhat. And this kid did sound awfully sincere. For a moment Tamaki gets an actual look of sympathy.]

...I see. Where you...successful then?

[daddyhost]

[And in the blink of an eye, he is beaming once more.]

OF COURSE! NOT A PRINCESS SHALL BE HARMED WHILE I AM HERE.

[lord_wizard]

[Well, if anyone can understand violent mood shifts, it's Felix. Tamaki gets a bitter sort of smile in response]

That's good to hear. This castle seems to put us through enough already...

[He sighs, sits on an empty bed]

[daddyhost]

No matter what the castle does, I will protect the princesses!

[lord_wizard]

[This kid must be on some sort of loss]

Are you some kind of knight?

[daddyhost]

[Felix chuckles. He can't help it.]
