Damian's Birthday Party
[ Because someone has to do it, and it helps if that someone doesn't want to rip the little brat's head off.
Anyone even passing by the lobby today will notice that the dining hall - you know, that thing none of us ever use? - has been thoroughly re-purposed: it took a lot of work on a day's notice, but she managed it, even if it meant driving the ghosts to exhaustion. It's not a great gala thing - she doubts he'd like that sort of thing, being a boy his age - but there's space for all, and plenty of stuff to (hopefully!) make it one of the more excellent birthday parties Damian has ever had.
Or, you know, the only one. But still!
And don't worry, adults. There is an open bar over yonder.
