Yeah, it was pretty big on Mars. Funny what traditions they keep up with.

You're not human? [It's a fairly casual tone, actually. She's thinking more along the lines of gods, demigods, and centaurs than aliens, though.]

We do. Luckily it's actually kind of a slow night...certain elements of our world consider it...the term we use is 'tacky' or 'without class'. They stay in.

We just call it Earth...we have just seen the turn of the new millenium a few years ago, the year 2000. Would that be the future to you?

[She's surprisingly unfazed by this. Because EVERYONE is from the future to her.]

Yep. I'm beginning to think that this holiday is just after my time.

[Uther is studying her with the sword. He has rarely encountered female warriors, with the exception of Morgause. He knows that they are not impossible, but they are strange to him even so. He doesn't say a whole lot just yet, though.]

[Probably not many this scantily dressed either, right? She notices someone watching, but it's not the creepy kind of stare, so she when she looks up it's more out of curiosity than anything.]

I have rarely seen female warriors before my arrival here. It is uncommon in my land.

Not many where I'm from either. [Pause.] Except the Amazons.

It exists in my world, though it isn't very widely celebrated like it seems to be in other places.

Earth. But a very different one than others here seem to be familiar with.
