It's just a popped seam. Happens to the best of us! It's really nothing to be worried about. Nothing a needle and thread can't fix. Do you know how to sew?

Nah, it's not too bad. I've seen bigger rips than this before. [Like when his whole arm fell off!] This is nothing, but it needs to be fixed up before it turns into something.

I snagged my pants on something sharp. It's not too bad but you know what they say about a stitch in time and all that. [He's totally downplaying it so he doesn't freak out.]
