I've heard from others sometimes that hallways represent either choices or the desire to escape. It was just astonishingly linear, to leave a bedroom and find myself in one. I'd almost expected to ... [Find myself standing over my father's dead body.] ... see myself at the summit of a mountain. Something nonsensical like that.
