Hey just wondering... is there anyone who's been here for a little while and still doesn't know what their loss is? Or has maybe come close but just can't put your finger on it? I think that's where I am. I mean I know something's missing.... but definitely not what.Did the castle have to make it complicated because I've been here a million times

I can still do everything I used to be able to do. And I don't remember anything that's missing, but...if I forgot something, would I know it?

I can do everything too. But it kinda feels like there's just this empty place....

Plus I've got friends from my world here and it just seems like I'm missing something. Are you here alone?

I won't be of much help, since I know what my loss is, but you're definitely not the only one who doesn't know. You're the second person I've run into in as many days who still doesn't know.

Really? I guess it's probably possible to be here the whole time and never know what it is.

But doesn't that kind of take away some of the point?

Well, that would depend on what the 'point' is. If it's just payment to the castle for the wishes or something, then I wouldn't say it takes away anything. Something's still missing, no matter what.

I dunno. I thought we were supposed to suffer from it a little. You know, like the castle is just kinda laughing in our faces?

I don't know....could be, I guess. But does losing a memory usually feel so.... empty? I've never lost one before.

You could ask your friends. They would know, wouldn't they?

That's the thing. Cassie's from before me so she's pretty much exempt...but Conner said some weird things and Tim pretty much admitted he's not telling me everything.

Not at all. I have a hunch, but it feels like there's more to it.

Well, if you got a hunch, you might be right.

I figured mine out right quick, but it weren't anything difficult. Not like folks losin' memories or talents an' the like.

Guess I'd better ponder it some more!

It might be a memory. I mean I don't think I've forgotten anything but I guess you wouldn't realize it if you did, huh?

No... If I had to guess.... [there's an uncomfortable pause. She's figured this for awhile, but it's not a pleasant thought] I'm pretty sure I've lost a memory. Since nothing else seems to be missing. But with no one else around to confirm it... I guess I just won't know.

Well. [ heheh ] Yeah, pretty much.

So because you don't have anyone from your world, you can't be sure...

I've known what all of my friends are talking about when it comes to the past. In fact, I'm pretty sure I remember it better than they do. But... there is something kind of suspicious.
