[So, Matt had managed to duck out of most of the "social" activities of the school. After pounding on bullies in-between classes, the last thing he wanted was to be enclosed in a crowded gymnasium with them. Now? He was outside the school, out in the small town that surrounded the area. Though to look for him...you're gonna have to look up, because

[Sensing Elektra's heartbeat, Matt completes one more one-handed cartwheel before flipping off of the ledge he'd been working on. He runs a hand through his hair and smiles]

You know me, I don't usually do this sort of thing.

Hell...the last time we did this, Foggy had to practically beg me to go.

[He pauses, his tone becoming serious]

But I wanted us to have a night that didn't get interrupted by...well...you know.

You know most people in New York would have killed to go to that Gala.

[Elektra nods. She had the same idea in mind since he arrived. This just wasn't the setting she was hoping for.]

... I wanted it to be at Abel's wedding but, this could be a good test run.

[He rubs the back of his head, a little embarrassed.]

Yeah, well...I'm not most people. Foggy wanted to go because it meant rich, but very guilty clients. People I wouldn't represent. I went because it meant I got to see you again.

[He's still riding on cloud nine, does a few backflips and walks on his hands, he's taking advantage of this as long as he can.]

I'm not sure I'd call it a "test", since we're both gonna be older and much better dancers by that time, but I see what you mean.
