[ Surprise surprise -- there's a festival in town. It's everything you'd imagine a summer festival is, yet another piece of Paradisa's endless greeting-card scenes, like something out of a classic painting. There are food carts, game stalls, booths selling handmade clothing and jewelry... it goes on and on for blocks, all

ON A ROOFTOP [PRIVATE]

[Things are quieting down, and with only luminous balloons below and fireworks above to light the last of the festival-goers.

And above, settled on a rooftop, obscured by shadow, are two iron-clad people... ]

[the first is taller, with broader shoulders. He's clad in one of the stolen suits, though the helmet's been replaced completely. Arm raised, palm out, he says to the first, and in a garbled, robotic voice:]

[The second is smaller, curvier. She's in another modified suit, watching the scene below. Her voice is low, relaxed, and unfiltered.]
