[Timothy had decided to go out for a walk, after closing up his office for the night. window-shopping wasn't usually one of his favorite activities, but he had a few clients to do 'research' for - people he needed to familiarize himself with. so he was wandering up and down the street, glancing in the windows and checking the reflections in the glass before him for familiar faces.

it was an old trick, but a good, reliable one...]

[and Zelman was out on his usual walk towards the Middle of Nowhere. it was one of those nights where a bit of a detour sounded nice, just to see if something (anything) was going on. he pays close attention to everyone around him, mostly out of habit. when you piss off as many people as he does...

this guy doesn't really stand out, but he thinks he's seen him before. as a bonus, he's got genuine interest in whatever's on the other side of that window. he'll walk up next to him.]

[unnoticeable is part of his job description, so he's slightly surprised when the redhead speaks up. he passes it off as being brought up out of his thoughts, though, and offers him a polite enough nod of greeting]
