[She's baffled.]

I've never heard of such a thing. Is everyone alright?

It doesn't seem like it attacked anyone. But it kept talking about wanting to grind our bones. The spiders failed to mention it would be here.

You really don't know anything?

Boars? [...] No wonder...

What's necromancy?

...It's magic that involves raising or using the dead.

Yes.

It's a magic that's considered forbidden in my world, but there are many who still use it. If the sorcerer is powerful enough, they can have absolute control over a dead body. Or worse...create a whole new weapon. [like Akuma ffff i wish I had my Innocence working]

They were tiny? I'm worried about what changed them that drastically. Is it some toxin in the environment? Or some being toying with nature...

Whatever the case is, it's very clear we're not getting all the details here, from anyone involved. Miss Browne has her own reasons, and I can respect that, as I've met her and know them, somewhat.

As for the spiders ... I'm not certain. That boar didn't look like it could have killed the Trevors the way they were dispatched ... and yet the spiders saw it as a threat. I can't help but wonder why.

An environmental toxin would make more sense than magic, unless we can again somehow get around the fact that our own magic never seems to function out here. Although, it wasn't terribly long ago that this area was able to sustain magic, while the area between the first and second barriers wasn't...the changes could have been made then, and if they were permanent alterations they would have stayed even if magic left....

[Raistlin slept a little, but since he doesn't need to sleep to regain energy for his magic, he's not exhausted when he wakes up in the morning. on seeing Junior's announcement, he goes to seek him out]

Perhaps I may be able to shed some light... I know much of necromancy.

Yeah? Does this look like the standard type to you?

Tasslehoff told me what he saw of the creature, once it was killed ... and there were no talismans or markings on the skeleton. So it is different from what I know in practice, but the way it behaved and seemed to have been controlled by an outside force is similar.
