...I think most people would be lying if they said they didn't.

Makes you kinda wish you could turn back time, just to get the opportunity to say something, huh? [Oh how little he knows]

Yeah, all the time.

I just try to keep from making the same mistake now. Help people while there's still time.

...doesn't change the regret bit, though.

It sure doesn't.

Yeah. I guess you have a point. It'd be wasted experience, otherwise.

Say it to them anyway. Even if they'll never hear you. It'll make you feel better.

You think so?

Yeah, I do. At least that way you'll get to let it out - keep it all inside and it starts to rot.

Besides, you never know in this place. Say it once so that you let it all out, and you never know. There's been a lot of people who show up here that are supposed to be dead in their own worlds.

...I got to admit, letting it rot sure doesn't feel great.

She'd probably enjoy it here, see it as a big adventure.

[There's a heavy pause. He's got 7 wondering just what she could have said to 2, if there had been the chance. She'd forgotten how tightly he had hugged her, that he had missed her that much. If she had known what was going to happen next, what would she have said? What should she have said? Dammit, Shortpack, you buzzkill!]

[She sounds pensive, unsure.] Perhaps ... [And then a little sigh and she's back to her usual self,] No. No regrets.

[Sorry, BFF, blame Billy and his evil computer pal for giving him a horrible nightmare. Let's find them and stab them with things]

I guess they don't help with carrying on.

[And plan that involves stabbing things is a great plan to 7!]

[She definitely sounds more pragmatic now, though there is a softness to her voice] Well, maybe there's a reason things weren't said in the first place? Dwelling on it now isn't going to help.

[It's the greatest plan in the world. Stabbity]

[But hey, that softness in her voice sure is comforting] It sure isn't going to change anything. Maybe you're right. [She is actually, so very, very right -__-]

Not so much saying something more doing something.

Doing something...yeah. It gives you more time to say something, too. I know there's a lot I'd do over if I could.

Bar time travel, I guess we'll never know for sure if it'd help us or not.

Which. Not too big a bar, around here. Sometimes.

Hmm, people do come from all sorts of times. There's someone in my world from our future, here. Pretty weird, when you think about it.
