[The cat has been exploring both the castle and the journals. He didn't take much notice of his journal when he arrived, but it began appearing everywhere he went--even in places only a cat could reach. So he finally investigated the curious little book, and he's been following recent goings-on with great interest.

[Though he's been here a while now, Barnabas is still adjusting to the castle. He's taken to wandering around, exploring and hoping to run into interesting (and useful) people.

He's found the music room. It's completely unoccupied, except for a cat sitting on...someone's journal? He looks around. It's not like people around here to leave a journal unattended.

He's going to reach down and attempt to remove the cat from the journal so that he can look for a name in the book.]

[Green eyes narrow. This one smells like one of those. An old and violent thing. Yes, there are several of them around the castle, and none have given the cat a reason to like them.]

Yes, a lot of people have traveled pretty far from the castle. There's a lot of land around here, but and I think people are going to travel again soon.

[Alma had been listening to the journals intently for the past few days, worried about the recent events but not exactly keen on stepping his feet into the mess, especially if Yuu wasn't planning on it either. Right now Alma didn't feel so responsible for these other people, no matter how kind they were to him.

The scientists had been kind as well.

He came across the music room and peeked inside. He had never seen a room such as this before nor had he seen any of these instruments, never mind what they were used for. He had also never seen a cat before so when he saw one sitting on the piano bench he moved closer towards it, curious.]

[Sakaki wasn't originally intending on actually going into the music room, but when she catches a distinctly feline shape out of the corner of her eye when wandering past the door? Her destination changes. She peeks into the room, to make sure that there isn't anyone else around to watch a potentially disastrous encounter that involves claws and teeth, she then slips in and makes her way towards the cat.

very tall and moving with cautious intent, she tends to give cats--at least the less vocal and sentient ones--severe creeps ...even though she's quite harmless.]
