[as he's passing by that spot, one of the books in the stack slips from its place and hits the floor before Lavi can catch it]

Crap-- [a pause, noticing her nearby] Sorry about that.

[the sound is making her look up. After a couple of moments, she's leaning down to pick up the book, and she'll hold it up for Lavi to take]

[gives her a surprised look, then smiles at her, shifting his pile of books a bit to reach for the one she's holding up]

Huh? Shouldn't I be doing that?

[He was actually just exiting the library, his eyes are starting to strain from the tiny print and when he stops rubbing at them and looks up, he attempts to stop a head on collision]

[unfortunately Lavi has turned his head into a different direction for a moment and can't see from that angle, so while he reacts as soon as he hears the footsteps, turning his attention back to where he's going, he might be a second too late]

[Oh Lavi, why must you hinder him so ;; You are just a few seconds too late and he crashes right into you. He makes a startled sound and his first reaction is to grab onto Lavi in an attempt to regain his balance and keep the redhead from toppling down as well. Books are in his way ;;]

[in the meantime, Lavi is trying to juggle not dropping all those books or smashing them into Arthur and himself and catch his balance, too, but it doesn't seem to be working out too well - some of the books do land scattered around the floor]

[Allen's heading back to his room after an unsuccessful search for Crowley when he spots Lavi. And since spending time with Lavi is always nice, he'll head over to join him]

[looks past the books at Allen and grins at him]

That'd probably be a good idea, huh? You heading the same way, Allen?

I can, I don't have to be anywhere right now.

[He'll hold out his hands so he can take some books]

[adjusts his grip on the books to hand some over to Allen]

So I guess this is some pretty lucky timing.

[ In the library, flipping through books. ]

--Damnable script. This is becoming impossible.

[picking out a few different books, once at the library, but he glances into this guy's direction when he overhears that, watching him flipping through those books for a moment]

Huh? Something wrong with those?

[ He rolls his eyes. ]

It's nothing.

You sure? You've gotta expect all kinds of things here, so I figured I'd ask.

[Lavi, that is a large stack of books. Ken is coming up the stairs and notices this quite easily. Do you think there's a chance you'd drop one, Lavi?]

[despite Lavi making an effort to divide his attention between watching where he's going and holding his books in place, they do slip around a bit when he checks that there still aren't any moving obstacles in his path and one of those books manages to escape.

Lavi quickly tries to keep it from falling, but it's already on the floor before he can free one of his hands]

Ah, let me get that! [Ken quickly darts over and scoops up the book.] Here.

[turns his head into Ken's direction]

Ken?

[moves the books in his arms to hold his hand out for the one Ken picked up]

Maybe I should've gone with making a couple separate trips instead, huh.
