Oh! Where did this come from?
[a bit of shuffling as Tas shimmies out of one of the tunnels at the main entrance to the Insolitus and picks up the journal from the floor] I could have sworn you were in my pack a minute ago. Or however long ago it was when I looked. Time really does such strange things in here... I mean, it's beautiful with all the stars and the tunnels and the climbing, but without the sun it's really hard to gauge how much time has passed... not that I suppose it matters, since you can't starve to death here. Which is pretty handy, actually.
Being able to travel freely would be nice. No matter how fascinating a place is, eventually you really have to get out and look around and it might be a bit of a bother since the castle or the world or whatever is in charge won't let us go, because we're bound to run out of places to look and that wouldn't be fun at all. But not having to stop and buy supplies makes things much easier when you just want to see what's right around that corner and you really don't want to stop, but your stomach is making noises that are kinda similar to that strange, growling thing you passed in the last tunnel and it didn't really seem like something you'd want to notice you in the first place, only all you have to do is wish for a sandwich and keep on going.
[a door creaks and Tas suddenly sounds surprised Why, here's the castle! I'd been wondering where it had gotten to, but I got a little turned around in there - which isn't like me at all and shouldn't have happened because I was mapping everything as I went, of course - but every time I put the map away it would hide somewhere and I had to keep starting over. It was the strangest thing, really. Quite a bit of trouble. [cheerfully] Why, I wouldn't be surprised if I'd been walking in circles for ages!
[Raistlin]
Hey, Raist! If you haven't checked out this maze, you really should! It's got to be magic or something.
[a thump as he plops down on the floor and leans against the wall] Wow... I'm beat. I bet I was walking for hours
[try days, Tas. Try days]
[ooc: I am so, so sorry for the tl;dr. Open over the journal and in person]
