Earth Day...I miss Earth, you know? Not just the maybe-Earth we saw in LA--I miss that, too--but my Earth. Last bastion of the human race, headquarters of the UNSC. Last I heard, the Covenant found it and half of Africa got melted into glass. I'd be surprised if there's still a billion humans left, what with the war. When I was born, there were 30 billion. Maybe more.
Most of you out there? If that's not the kind of world you come from? You're damn lucky.
