You know, usually around this time everybody up in the Palace would be running around like wild, trying to set up for the celebration... I guess it's not unlike this, but it'll be weird not seeing everyone this year.

[Standing in the lobby, staring up at one of the larger trees is Pit, currently eyeing the top of it and biting his lip in thought.

[Duster happens by with a mug of tea, and ... pauses to try to figure out what Pit's finding so interesting about the top of that tree. Looks like a normal Christmas tree to him. Hmm.]

[Just imagine the view from the top, Duster!

There are certainly a lot of interesting footholds up, and he can't help but wonder at it... Such an enormous size is perfect for climbing!

He's pacing in front of it, now, wings fluttering every few steps. Where to begin... ]

[Not being the imaginative type, Duster is wondering if there's ... an ornament that needs to be fixed at the top of the tree. Or something. He'll limp a little closer.]

What are you doing? [Just wondering.]

Huh? [Pit glances Duster's way, grinning mischievously.] I'm going to try to climb it!

[holy crap Pit, that is a tall tree. Maya is all decked out in puffy snow gear so she'll wave as she comes running up]

[Pit takes his eyes off the ginormous tree to face her-- And all he's got on is maybe a slightly longer scarf and slightly thicker clothes. ...Festive! :P ]

[You always give him fuel, Pit. That's why he sort-of-likes you. Have a Crowley standing behind you]

If you really want to be the angel at the top of the tree, all you have to do is ask.

[He's still staring up the thing, trying to figure out where to start.] Yeah, but where's the fun in that?
