This place really likes the holidays, huh?

Is it really always like this? I mean, it's nice. Really nice. But something still... Oh, never mind. It's nice, let's just leave it at that.

[OOC: I'll just leave this as the kissing entry so to say. She'll be in the kitchen if you wanna bump heads. ♥; EDIT: I'm still not getting notifs so please bare ( Read more... )

It's my first Christmas here myself, but after the Halloween festivities, I can honestly say I'm glad the pranks are much more tame.

Are you enjoying the change in scenery?

Busy. Yeah, you could say that.

Four months doesn't sound as bad as it used to.

No, not compared to the three year marks some people are hitting recently...

But, I've actually enjoyed my time here.

Ugh. I don't know how they can handle that. I'd go crazy after six months.

Yeah, I guess I could say I have to. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss home.

[a little laugh] Well, the castle does have way of keeping you occupied here and there.

Mm, yes... Do you have any faces from home here with you?

If only it was a good kind of occupied.

No, actually. Oh don't worry though. I miss them of course, but I'll be fine. How about you, Father?

[jovially] What, you don't enjoy kissing your fellow Paradisians? [a light laugh]

Ah... I'm sorry to hear that. The castle is finicky like that, isn't it? I went several months alone, and then two of my companions popped right out of thin air... [literally. and fell on him. from the sky. it was very strange...]

Ha... No, can't say that I do. And if my boyfriend found out well, I'm sure you get the idea.

That's good though, right? If some of the people I know back home ever came here... Pretty sure they wouldn't last a week. They're not exactly the types to believe in magic. They'd freak. Definitely freak.

I'm sure he wouldn't begrudge you. It's not like you can help it, hm? But I see what you mean.

Mmm... It is a hard thing to wrap your head around... But I'm sure they wouldn't want you to be alone.

N-not that you are! You're not alone! But... ah... you know what I mean, don't you?

When I mentioned people freaking about magic, he'd probably be one of them. But yeah, I think he'd be okay after learning the circumstances.

Yeah, no I think understand. They wouldn't want me to be alone, I know. [Short sigh] And even though I'm really not alone it's still not the same as it would be if someone from home was here with me as well. At least I think I understood that right?

Y-yes, you did. [a little pause]

But you're not alone, okay? If you're ever feeling lonely, you're always welcome to come visit me in the Satis tower. I have a little church there, and it's never a problem to have a cup of tea with a friend, hm? [and here's a little doodle of how to get to the Satis tower church from the main lobby!]

I appreciate that, Father Abel. Really, that's nice of you.

And I'm sorry. I must be acting pretty rude to you I'm sure. ... Or something. I'm just not used to speaking with a church figure so if I've been disrespectful at all, sorry about that. ... I'm a little surprised this place would take a Father of a church though. That seems a little wrong. Though taking anyone in general would be wrong but... yeah.

No, no! Please, don't think of me any differently than anyone else. You haven't been rude at all. You're very sweet, Zoe.

Sweet? Um. Thank you, Father. Really. Hah. My dad would love to hear that. Though it might just give him a heart attack or something. He's like that sometimes, but I guess all parents are.

But sure. Tea sounds great. I'm more of a coffee person but tea wouldn't be so bad of a change. Thanks, I might just stop by. Oh, but I'd tell you ahead of time.

[that earns a little laugh] Yes, parents do have a way of having special heart attacks over their children.

That sounds perfect. You can stop by anytime; my door is always open to you.
