[Leon's sitting in Caritas, flipping through his journal while pretty much ignoring his drink. He figured he'd branch out from his usual spot and see if the Deathmatch's competition has anything going for it.

The verdict thus far? At least this place feels a lot cleaner. The karaoke isn't exactly a plus, but at least here it's not Travis crooning

[Delysia's shift hasn't started yet, so she's lingering by the bar with a club soda. She won't have herself slurring or hiccuping mid-song, after all. At the newcomer, she'll simply take the stool beside him and smile.]

[Looking up from the open book in front of him, Leon opts to set the journal aside for the time being in favor of the newfound company]

It's definitely a change of pace, that's for sure.

Compared to the Deathmatch? If I'm not mistaken, I might've seen you in there before. I know a few of the bartenders there myself. But you'll find that this bar has a bit more... A bit more class, I think.

I'll say. Better looking customers, too.

[Uh oh, Leon. Where did your class go?]

I'm surprised I haven't come to check it out before.

[He's seen a lot of crazy shit go down, so Lorne's appearance isn't ... too off-putting. Still, it's not every day that you see a green-skinned, red-horned demon]

No complaints here.

[And he'll even grab a hold of said drink as if to reinforce as much]

Just a little distracted lately.

[Lorne's learned not to take in anyone's surprise, so he continues as if everything is normal]

[As does Leon. After all, no one dressed like Lorne could be considered Bad News, right?]

Nothing a couple drinks won't fix in the meantime.

[Besides the fact that you seem a little young to be in a bar?]

Yeah, I'm good.

[He could use another drink, though]

[ nervous laugh ] Yeah! I know what you're thinking...! I mean, at least it's not like the Deathmatch in here. Aheh...

Um, can I get you anything else?

It's a nice change of scenery, that's for sure. I guess the same rules that apply back home aren't really in effect here. But I think I'm good for now, thanks.

Is it always like this? The piano bar atmosphere, I mean?

[After having met Lorne, he's poking his head into Caritas and hoping he doesn't get thrown out for being underage. How does Shunsui do this so often - it's so stressful!

No, I was just looking around. I've read some of my older journal entries and it seems I came here quite a lot.
