Fiesta!

Went to Texas Furry Fiesta this weekend. Once again, it was fun and well-run (though I of course have some suggestions for the con like getting larger rooms for some things). I recommend the convention to other furry type persons. Especially those who find traveling to California or Pennsylvania for the "big" ones to be an expensive chore. I have

779 is the attendance according to Wikifur; seems about right. Furry Fiesta, Rainfurrest, and Furry Connection north have all been pretty quick-growing regional mid-sized cons; I expect them all to break a thousand in their fourth year.

Bob and Jamye being Skoob/Noid? Man, I miss 'em. Do hope I can make it to FF sometime, it does sound like they have their act pretty well together.

I stand by my statement! I keep rather close track of convention numbers, given that it's part of my job with Anthrocon. Furry Connection North I expect to be in the 900's this year (Their third) as Rainfurrest was this year (Their third). I figure Furry Fiesta will be very close to but not over 1000 next year... but you've got the best chance at it, as y'all have the second-largest first-year and second-year attendance of any furry convention. (For the record, the best attendances for years one through three are held by Further Confusion, which had 691, 987, 1114

We had 779 attendees. And next year we will have a bigger ball room and we plan on putting on puppets and a variety show next year - we've grown enough to pull it off.
