I don't want to say that this was a bad story, because it's not, at least in terms of the emotions. But...where was the plot? What do Jim and co. do, and why are the Vulcans on the opposite side? And the whole 'rescue Pavel' mission was just sad, because Chris died for absolutely nothing. So...I just don't get it, sorry.

Well, I'm sorry you didn't get it.

It was tricky for me, because I was trying to keep it intentionally vague, and I think I went a little too far, and managed to either confuse everyone, or put them off. So, I'm gonna try and work on fixing that with some new fic, I hope.
