Santa Fe Vintage Motorcycle Show

Sunday I went to Lawrence, Kansas to check out a tiny vintage motorcycle show. It is young show; perhaps two or three years now, but I was astounded by the number of vintage bikes. The Kansas City Heart of America (HoAme) Motorcycle Club does a big show with hundreds of bikes, but even at the big show last year they couldn't claim the variety this

I'm glad you took more photos of the Henderson one, that one looks very interesting. I like it. Sara likes the "pink lady one with the sidecar", bless her! I like the forgotten by time one too...I'd want to use that as a prop in a post-apocalyptic world movie :) and have a young James Dean action hero ride it around old new new york. I'll have to show some of these photos to my dad.

I made this post open, so anyone can see it, including your dad. :> The Henderson is pretty interesting. They tried to revive the brand about twenty years ago and it was a business disaster. My old place of employ actually had one of the reissues. Big ol' HD wannabe. The voltage meter is something I haven't seen before! He only got that piece for it recently and it cost him pretty dearly.

I knew Sara would like the Vespa with sidecar; that's why I snapped a shot of it. :)

The old HD was pretty amazing. I have a shot of the other side if you'd like to see it. We share an aesthetic on the post-apocalyptic thing for certain!
