So a couple of months ago, I signed the Cassettebots up for the fic challenge over at over_look... and then got blind-sided with the essay from hell. Now I've picked this up again and managed to make some headway by churning out the first fic of the set

Sweet! And a nice look at the four of them... to many fics make them to be mini-Cassetticons, w/ a softer inside ;) But you make it so that they're younger & that's why they're "softer" ♥

That's what I really like about your fics, the interplay of relationships and that you stick to the defined characteristics of the characters as well as drawing out other details, like how Blaster is a bit of a mother bear when it comes to his kids

I love how you are using your stories to explore the relationships between the Cassettebots and Blaster; they are such a great family, with all the bonuses and minuses that being a family entails. It's great that you add little touches such as Ramhorn not being a cuddler. These are very enjoyable to read.
