Sundays are my favorite day of the week.

I missed the Seine today.
We sat by the canal, soaking in the sunbeams, watching the sailboats pass.
Lunchtime we were spreading "Fleur d'Aubris" on our bread,
talking about the "strange weather we're having"
(not that a sunny day is not welcome in January).
And then the pear. Oh the pear.
There will never be another like it.
