Crazy I collect vintage owls and vintage mushrooms. I started with Merry Mushrooms from Sears Robucks 70's-80's and within the last 18 months switched to mostly owls. They work really well together.
Yeah, even though they rarely interact that much in nature, they really do work well together somehow. Maybe it is just the sort of 50's and slightly trippier 60's fairytale imagery that the past couple of generations have been raised with...my parents read me a lot of vintage kids books, and the imagery seeped into my subconscious.
