Thank you, oh, THANK YOU! It's my prompt, and you've done wonders! The way you combined the Art of War and the progress or drawbacks Clark made or overcame--it's perfect!

“I need you to want this enough to try. I need to mean enough to you for you to try."

Go, Clark! You deserve no less! And I just LOVE Clark using excellent strategies against Bruce...no, not against, but to win the Bat's heart.

Thank you again for sharing such a wonderful story! :D

I am so relieved to hear that you liked it! The moment I read the prompt, I was excited about what I wanted to do with it, but halfway through I wondered if I could really make the scenarios plausible. I'm glad it turned out all right in the end.

I'm happy you picked out that line because it was probably my favorite out of the whole thing. Clark definitely deserves no less than Bruce's commitment, especially after all that thinking and plotting! Thank you for your kind comments. :)

Ohhhh, this is wondeful. You manage to adapt 'The Art of War' to the story very well. It's a very useful book, especially in the business world.
I love the way Clark tried to capture Bruce's heart, and how Bruce gave in finally. So glad to see him loosen up and let himself be loved. :)

Thank you for sharing this. :D

I had a lot of fun trying to figure out how to adapt the passages to Bruce and Clark's relationship. I love the trope of getting through to a hardened heart, so "The Art of War" was the perfect guide for Clark.

Thank you for reading! :)

In the end, Clark hadn’t had to force himself past Bruce’s walls after all - Bruce had lowered them himself. It only made the victory more beautiful.

I love your application of the Art of War here! It really does fit this relationship very well. I loved how Clark was so steady and determined and totally smitten, and the ending was such a joy. Wonderful!

In my book, a stubbornly smitten Clark is second only to an oblivious-while-being-wooed Clark. ;) I had a lot of fun figuring out how to make "The Art of War" work for this story, so I'm glad you liked it.

Thank you for your kind comments!
