And where the midsummer tree grows tall by Pendragon's sword the Dark shall fall.

I've been watching that new BBC tv show Merlin. Its really bad. But for some reason that I don't understand, I can't stop watching it. It's like clockwork. Every Sunday I look for it online and as I watch the episode all I think is that it's complete crap. That and the opening sequence kind of rocks. It's so cheezy. But the music is goodI seriously ( Read more... )

Sure Milo's ignoring you? He could just be wrapped up in college life. It's pretty hard to stay in touch when you're not near each other.

That said...confront him on it. Give him some sort of ultimatum that he can't ignore. He'll probably listen. And don't assume that he's just not talking to you- give him the benefit of the doubt, and be there for him if it turns out something's wrong.

Anyway, thanks for the comment on mine! It was nice to hear from you, and I hope to see you at Diplocon sometime next year. Or just come back to campus again- it was fun dancing with you at the Arts House party.

Milo, isn't actually ignoring me, it's just taking him much longer than normal to get back to me when I call him. That and when we finally do get to talk, he always tries to get off really quick. And it isn't like he has classes to worry about or anything. He was done with education after high school.

I'm not sure if I want to have a confrontation with Milo right now. At least not one with an ultimatum. Milo and I have been friends non-stop since we've met. Even when we went to separate high school's there was no problem. Now I feel like, despite the fact that I'm the one who went off to college he's leaving me behind.

Oh well...

The Arts House party was lots of fun! So was Diplocon. I hope I'll get to see you guys at least once more before Christmas. If you see Jess, let her know that she needs to get back to me soon.

Speaking of Jess, the latest entry on my livejournal concerns her...if you hear from her, please tell her to read it. Also that I'm sorry for yelling at her last night, and that I care about her a ton and still consider her one of my best friends.

No problem, though I'm sure you'll see her before I'll hear from her I heard about her computer. I'm also sure she knows that. Tiffs don't equate to the death of a friendship.

Good luck.

Also, college is rarely as awesome as people expect it to be. Other than Milo, what else do you think is causing your unhappiness?

I'm beginning to find that out. I think I'm just frustrated that things aren't going my way. I thought that getting out of high school would mean that people had grown up and away from all of the immaturities and drama.

Oh dear. Drama never ends. Plus, in college you get to live with the people causing/participating in drama. All that time together, plus an endless need to do anything other than study...causes drama. What sort of drama's bugging you atm (if you don't mind me asking)?

Milo might seem to be ignoring you (although as you say, not really, but just taking him much longer than normal to get back to you), but you are doing the same with me! We haven't sat down and talked since December 2.

I also emailed Jess on December 17 and I haven't heard a thing from her either. Have you seen her? If so, please remind her to get in touch with me before tomorrow, when I leave town until January 4 (well past the deadline we both have to meet).

I don't mean to be ignoring you. Really. Things have just gotten so far from normal that I'm having trouble keeping up a daily schedule let alone one that encompasses catch up work. I've got two classes that I never actually "finished" this passed semester, and I'm doing the best I can, but I don't think it'll be good enough since I can't seem to get my brain to focus on anything correctly (it's taking longer than it should to type this out) for any length of time. I'm just hoping to be able to get credit for the classes since my GPA is already in the toilet from my other classes. I can live with a D as long as I can stay on track with regard to graduating. That isn't to say I won't still try to finish everything I said I would finish (whether it is in time or not) but still... and now I'm rambling. That's what I get for answering comments at 5:10 in the morning after no sleep.

Does all of this have to do with Milo? Or are you having problems with Jess? Are they going to prevent you from graduating? Don't let them derail your life!!!

If you haven't "finished" your two classes, your professors won't have much to grade you on . . . college is like that (actually life is like that). What do you expect them to do? I know one of them, and, for the life of me I can't figure out why she's not sticking to her principles. I think she should fail you but I doubt she will. I think Milo might have called her and convinced her to let you slide by.

Maybe Milo, you, Jess and I can meet in the New Year but you and I will have to reconsider our relationship. I'm packing now and leaving town.
