Its really cold outside. There were 13K people in the area without power from the high winds Wednesday. We were lucky, the entire town of Abingdon was blacked out, we live outside the town limits and we only had snap outages a few times Wednesday. I have been suffering from another cold all week yay. It was in the low 20's this morning, its 32 right now. They're calling for at least 60 by midweek. Its wacky here. The winds were upwards of 70mph, and not something this area is used to nor equipped to deal with well.

Just bringing in money gives me little spasms of glee :D I get paid to do something I like, even if its not a lot or often. This was an 80 dollar check though, not bad! :D

ugh, i hate christmas lights and yet love them so much ;)

i've had to replace mine several times (outside) thanks to squirrels nomming on the wires :/

With six cats prowling the grounds we dont see many squirrels in our yard-as in zip. I saw one once and that was it, in the going on 8 years I've lived here! On top of the lights I also need to replace my tree skirt, thanks to the same afore mentioned cats. You win some, you lose some lol.
