Its been a busy morning. We got to the gym (and she just adores Ms Bonnie now thank gods) and worked out for an hour, went to the movie store, came home, cleaned, made lunch and got her down for a nap. Oh, and helped her use the potty a dozen times! She discovered peeing on the potty is not so bad, especially since she has a nifty new padded potty

How old is Lydia? Sounds like potty training is going really well.

Sad for the weaning. Brenna is 14 months old and though we are not close to weaning yet, I am sad for that time to come. So did Lydia start weaning herself?

Lydia is 28 months, I swore after she turned two I wouldnt use months anymore but I was wrong!

We have been doing a very slow and gradual wean since around 15 months. At that age we stopped breastfeeding on demand and went to around 4-5 times a day, then down to three, then 2, 1 and now none. I started at 15 months because she was quite enamoured with the boobahs so I knew I had to start more of a schedule or I would have a hell of a time when she got older.

It does make me sad, esp since I wont ever get to have that type of bond again, but at the same time 28 months is a long time to have your boobs on loan-I am glad they are mine again! (but oy I am a bit sore!)
