Well, the reason you asked if your notes/etc. were destroyed because the most important thing thing in your life at the moment or what comsumes most of your life at the moment is your schoolwork.
The uncle being misplaced might just be random or it could mean that when you're with him you want to be somewhere else?
Dream within a dream? Hmm.. odd. Might be stress if you're screaming. :P
And usually you continue dreaming if you wake up and go back to sleep. Like, if you turn over or barely move, it's like your still in that state of mind. That's why after you have a nightmare, you should wake up, move around a bit or get up for a few minutes before going back to sleep. I always sit up and just shake my head a few times and turn the radio on. *shrugs*
It actually reflects certain stuff in your life -- moving out of dorm? plus didn't you mention recently a fire around where you live now (which is currently home for you). And erm, the notes appear to be your most treasured possessions at the moment :P
