So, we had an ant invasion, and this morning I sprayed some ant poison on their trail. The instructions said to keep people and pets away until it dried, so we left Carter out in the backyard when we went to work and left the windows open so the fumes could escape. Aww. Commando ninja dog! He's so badass that he needs a Saturday morning Carter-toon about his crazy antics and hilarious escapades, complete with cuteness and witty banter.

Bingley's claws cut through window screens like a warm knife through butter. (I typically cut his nails about once every couple of weeks.) I learned this the hard way when I had the windows open and Bingley heard something outside and went to jump up put his paws on the window to have a look-see. Only the window was open (it's usually not) and his nails sunk into the window screen -- the rest of his paws followed a split second later.

Yeah, the screens on my parents' porch are always getting holes in them for similar reasons. They're pretty easy to fix, but it does get kind of annoying after a while. These guys claim to make a much stronger screen material, but it also looks much more expensive than I remember the normal stuff being.
