I want alphabet soup. And canned ravioli. Mmmm. Some Kraft mac and cheese wouldn't hurt either ( Read more... )

I used to really like they Dinty Moore-esque beef stew. Really, all I cared about was the chunks of carrot and potato in the gravy, but I was weird like that : )

I don't know if this counts, but I also used to love the variety pack of mini kid's cereal (bundled packs of single servings of things like Pop Tarts and Cinnamon Toast Crunch).

Mac & Cheese for me, too. I remember when I was little (for all I know, they still do this), there was an ad campaign where, at the end of the commercial, the voice over would say something like "So cheesy it should really be called Cheese & Macaroni". At the same time, the words would reverse themselves on the box on the screen. I remember getting into an argument with my mom because I wanted *that* version of Mac & Cheese, not the less cheesy version. I was convinced the box on the commercial must be a new, cheesier variety. My poor mom.

My mom managed to convince my sister and I that our store didn't carry that kind, but that we could make it extra cheesy ourselves. We'd make the cheese sauce in the microwave while the pasta was cooking, and melt a bunch of regular cheddar into it. It tastes better that way too, although there is actually a point where it's too much cheese - about the time it starts to look more like soup.

I loved those variety packs too! I totally remember those mac and cheese commercials. I always got the mac and cheese with the macaroni shaped like cartoon characters and stuff like that!

Hehe, there was supposed to be a "<3" there, but as usual I forgot to escape the "<".

Eliio's Pizza squares. I still eat them, and not only just for the reaction ;-) (They're actually not terrible for you!)

Mmmmm, mac and cheese. There's a brand called Annie's that makes a decent orange mac and cheese with less chemicals.
