I'm a bit confused though, are people saying "WTF" over bayonetta porn or over the game creator's reaction to it?
I personally wouldn't want purchasable porn made out of my characters. I mean fanfic is one thing but explicit comics that people can buy? Yikes. So I think the game creator's reaction is perfectly understandable, albeit a bit surprising considering how sexual bayonetta herself was.
And doujin aren't necessarily purchasable, nor do I think that is really his concern. People are surprised because of what you said, she is sexual and all.
Honestly I think people are not seeing it from the creator's pov at all if their reaction is WTF. Regardless of how sexual bayonetta was it's quite a jump from campy sexual heroine to pornographic doujinshi character, where I suspect bayonetta is probably changed to suit the purposes of the doujin..maker. I don't think the creator's reaction is outrageous at all. If anything I'm kind of glad the creator's upset, since it means that his original intent for Bayonetta's sexiness wasn't something so...base.
"Apparently in the pornography, when Bayonetta powers up, her clothes disappear and form the shape of some monster or something.
Disgusting. Rolling Eyes"
:D
But that put aside:
The only reason I see why the guy is angry is because his character has the best traits of a mistress and doujins often (most often) feature women in submissive roles.. which doesn't fit Bayonetta's style at all - no, it's a disgrace!
