Those are all excellent things. All of them.

WE HAVE SIMILAR TASTE, WHAT R TEH ODDS.

Especially Important Trees, large colorful casts, old gods, unlikely cityscapes, hidden monsters...

For some strange reason I misread that as "Story mechanics/tropes/elements I don't like" and I was wondering how you ever found anything to read or play with so much eliminated.

Clearly I need a new brain.

But I like most of those too. Especially multiple parallel storylines and long lost esoteric ancient knowledge.

I could live without "important trees" but at least they aren't "important horses."

SO MANY RPGS

I can get on board with pretty much all of these and religions. Stick a fictitious religion in a story and I'm all over it, though that covers four or five already on the list.
