Thank you :) It was the only way I could work out how the Doctor actually had his file thingy... it's all very well for Sally to tell him to make sure he had the file on him when he got stranded, but wouldn't that be kind of tricky...? *ignores the plot holes because it was a fabulous ep anyway*

The Blink was scary, wasn't it? And your fic it's wonderful and very funny.

“Why do they always blink?” he asks, complaining to no one in particular, “You just can’t get the companions these days…”

LOL And I love the ending.

“If you don’t, it could tear a great big hole in three-fifths of the universe,” the Doctor adds, “And we wouldn’t want that, would we?”

Martha glowers.

“Sometimes I don’t know why I travel with you,” she says, unable to stop a petulant tone entering her voice. The Doctor turns one of those maniacally beautiful grins on her and Martha thinks: oh, that’s why.

But it doesn’t stop her remaining mutinously silent for the next half hour.

So perfectly in character. Love it.

It was scary, which is why the tie-in fic had to be kind of amusing, to stop me being scared to write it. I'm very glad you enjoyed, thank you!

I mean I can really HEAR him saying it! A more perfect Ten line I've never read. Great story.
