I LOVE THIS FIC SO MUCH. I'm afraid I've never really commented overmuch on your fics before, though I've been following them since Torchwood where you basically defined my headcanon, and I ADORE your writing style and your approaches to characters. I hope you'll be writing more Merlin - your Morgana is so lovely, with her constant bitter awareness of Merlin and everything he's done. I absolutly love the way you've actually managed to make a canon-compliant fic that doesn't ignore the undersides and implications of what goes on on the show, and the way your fic is both canonical and believable, giving a plausible way of fitting all the contradictions and weirdnesses together.
Also: Mordred and Occupy Morgana'a Sofa. Brilliance. I LOVE your Mordred characterisation and the way he is near-impossible to figure out.

When we get roughs submitted for the bang, I typically scan through them to look for something vaguely approaching a cohesive body of work. I did that when this one was submitted as well and then I realized I had gotten sucked into it and was completely involved.

It's a great story. It's more slice of life than build to big climax and come down, but that really _works_ for this. You get the feel of the ages just dragging on and these three immortals slogging through a world that has forgotten they exist.

Brilliant.

I don't watch Merlin, but this is so strong that I got it, I understood the relationships and how they all fit. I loved it!

Until this moment, I had no idea how incomplete my life was without Vampire!Morgana in it.
