Eleven fic! I love it. Although I have to say I love this line the most:

“Ah, right.” The Doctor smiles. “I forgot, you preferred me when I had giant ears and an unexciting dress sense.”

because Nine is and always will be my Doctor. But, despite my dissapointment that the Doctor is once again white and male, I think Matt Smith is interesting, too. And adorable. :)

I am bowled over by how perfect this is, all of it. Every character, every bit of dialogue and interaction, the way you have written the Doctor as fundamentally himself and fundamentally different based only a photograph but in a way that feels absolutely canon and right. I honestly think Eleven might be something a bit like this, and I certainly hope so. As ever, you are amazing!

Hihi. I was directed here after some public grumblings about Eleven fic, and I wanted to say that this story is good enough to overcome all the prejudices I was developing against such. ^_^ Seriously, this is terrific, and I love how the companions' post-Doctor development is reflected in their reactions to him and his new appearance. I especially love the Sarah Jane section. Very well done.
