I'm sorry the pairing makes you angry, because the story ROCKS. You've got bastard!Jack absolutely down perfectly, the ending is brilliant, Owen's bit is just right. And the paragraph starting "Gwen's smile" is very, very hot. Wow.

And of course the title comes from Episode 1. :) And he's right, it would be.
