Ah, Owen. Technically masterful, this one. I've seen a few people attempt post-Reset!Owen sex scenes and usually end up cheating at least a little bit, but you really nailed the complete sensory deprivation here. Which is pretty damn depressing! Heh.

Owen decides that if she’s about to thank him, he’ll snap the rest of the fingers on his left hand, or move into the Bay permanently.

*heart-clutch* Poor ol' Owen. I'm going to miss him next season!

Oh god. This was...wow. The detachment of Owen is...heartbreaking at it's worst, and you bring back the horror of his situation all over again.

Fantastically done.

Karaokegal sings
"Shot to the heart and you're to blame, baby you give love a bad name."

GUH! So painful and brilliant. POOR OWEN! You got him just right and I love Martha letting it happen and then walking away.

Thanks for going there and breaking my heart again. I love you for it.

Found this fic by Google-fu and I'm so glad I did. I've been looking for Owen/Martha for months because it makes me so sad that they never had a chance to hook up. I was shipping it from the moment they first started sniping at each other. This fic is just perfect, in the sadness and the detachment... it's beautiful. Thank you.
